Breakdown cover
In addition to providing you with instant Caravan insurance, we are also able to offer you breakdown cover for your vehicle at a very competitive price, even if you are towing your caravan.
By using independent companies or a local garage that are contracted to work for one or more of the main breakdown clubs we are able to offer you a comparable service throughout UK and Europe that is fast and efficient, and as we are not using one of the major breakdown groups we are able to offer you cheaper cover as you are not paying for the name.
Should your vehicle breakdown with your caravan attached, and it is unable to be fixed at the roadside, it will be towed away at no extra cost, providing it is fitted with a standard towing hitch.
We are able to offer 3 types of breakdown cover, dependant on the age of your vehicle:
- For Vehicles under 10 years old you can purchase single trip motor breakdown cover from as little as £20.97 dependant on the length required
- For Vehicles under 10 years old you can also purchase annual motor breakdown cover from £38.97
- Vehicles over 10 years old you can purchase annual motor breakdown cover from as little as £54.97
Each breakdown cover that we offer will include the following benefits to ensure that you have the best assistance should your breakdown:
Roadside Assistance Recovery
If your vehicle can not be repaired at the roadside, we will pay for the driver and up to 6 passengers to be transported to either the nearest garage that is able to undertake the repair of your vehicle, your home, or original destination
Alternative Travel
We will provide you with up to £100 towards the cost of a hire car or alternative transport and also pay for a single rail ticket for one person to collect the vehicle
Emergency Overnight Accommodation
We will allow you to claim up to £60.00 for a single traveler or £40.00 per person for one night for you and up to 6 passengers
Message Service
We will pass on 2 messages to either your home or work to advise them of your breakdown situation
Caravans & Trailers
Providing they are fitted with a standard towing hitch we will recover them with your vehicle if it cannot be fixed at the roadside
Key Loss
If your keys are lost, we will pay for the call out and mileage back to the recovery operators base
Our breakdown cover also comes in 3 different packages to provide you with a choice of what will suit your traveling needs.
- Blue – UK Roadside from at least 1 mile from your home, as well as all of the above
- Indigo – Home assist and all of the above
- Violet – Euro Rescue, European assistance and recovery service and all of the above
Should you choose to take out breakdown cover with us we can ensure that we can supply you with a 24 hour helpline and control centre, should the unexpected happen. We will provide you with a well trained rescue controller that will attend to you as quickly as possible and deal with your breakdown using their mechanical expertise and knowledge to try and get your vehicle up and working on the roadside, rather than just towing it away.
