Town plays host to mobile home festival
Posted on September 25th 2008
The town of Leeton, Australia, was swarmed by mobile home owners last week as the Auswide Motorhome Club descended on the town to host their tenth annual meeting.
Around 60 mobile homes and 120 people from all but one state in Australia arrived at the town for in order to celebrate their love for all things caravan and motorhome-related.
Husband and wife team (also Leeton residents and club members) Leo and Doreen Watts spoke to the Irrigator newspaper about co-ordinating the event: "The inaugural event was held in Leeton and it is the tenth anniversary so they were coming back to Leeton because of that."
"We all get together and have it once a year," they added.
Caravan owners hoping to travel to one of the many caravan meets across the UK should ensure that their caravan insurance is up-to-date to avoid any costly accidents.
