Posted on March 27th 2009
It is believed that there will be far move caravans on the roads this summer as more and more people are required to make cut backs on fancy holidays due to the credit crunch.
Touring parks and caravan holiday homes are set to be busy. Caravan club announced they are 40 per cent up on last year and camping and caravanning club reported a 15 percent rise in business.
One caravan site in Aberdeen has said his park normally gets bookings a month before, however with the current economic climate caravan customers are booking two months ahead.
