Sticker to promote UK tourism
The National Caravan Council (NCC) has produced a sticker to encourage holiday makers to stay within the UK and to stay "green".
As a follow up to the launch of the greencaravanning.co.uk website, which helps caravan owners compare the CO2 emissions from alternative forms of travel, the new sticker promotes the environmentally beneficial options of holidaying locally.
NCC deputy director general, Alicia Dunne, told the Out and About website: "There is a fantastic choice of holiday parks in Britain and, in many cases, great attention is paid to protecting the environment.
"So, we are urging caravanners to support our British tourism industry, thereby hopefully helping the environment too."
The National Caravan Council is also supporting British Tourism week, which commences on March 10th.
