Special Boat Service on receiving end of charity
Posted on October 02nd 2008
The Special Boat Service (SBS) has received a new mobile home as a gift to families and veterans of the force, it has been reported.
Marquis motorhomes and the Royal British Legion donated a new SEA CPT mobile home to reward the special forces unit, which has been running since 1941.
It will be available for use by families of serving soldiers or soldiers who have been injured while on duty and can be taken to caravan parks around the country, in order to help families relax at trying times.
The gift was certainly very thoughtful but could be snatched away in the event of a disaster such as a flooding at a caravan park.
As such, it is essential that any new caravan is covered by caravan insurance as soon as a purchase is made and before it is driven off the forecourt.
Caravan insurance can make the difference between a crash costing thousands of pounds to repair or simply a token amount to cover an excess fee.
