No time limit on south coast caravans

Posted on August 13th 2008

A 21-day time limit on period caravanners can stay on one of Chichester's most appreciated caravan parks has been lifted, it has been revealed.

Until now, caravanners at Chichester's Runcton park - one of West Sussex's most loved caravan parks - were subject to a 21 day rule, meaning guests could stay no longer than three weeks.

However this is all set to change as a result of government law, which was previously in place to prevent residents setting up homes in caravan parks.

The change in the law will delight many holidaymakers headed for the south coast town this summer, as they will be free to stay as long as they wish to take advantage of its picturesque harbour.

The Roman market town is also famous for the grounds of the largest Roman palace in the country situated in nearby Fishbourne, and it is also popular among walkers, who trundle the South Downs.
