"Monsieur Propre" personality told off for dirty caravan
The new owner of a caravan park has requested that a French TV
personality, who was associated with advertising cleaning products in
the 1980s, remove a 'heap of junk' from the pitch around his van.
Pierre Chevalier has told news agency AFP that he has been unable to
visit the van since August 2007 due to his partner's illness.
"Yes, we haven't cleaned the place since," he said. "But the site is
currently closed and all the plots are covered with (broken) branches
and leaves.
"All the plots are dirty."
Philippe Waver is seeking to remove Chevalier's caravan, some 20 years
old, in a bid to make his Essonne site, near Paris, ready for the 2008
season.
