Mobile home social networking site launched

A new website has been launched with a view to making international caravan holidays cheaper than ever before.

Combining a love of mobile homes with a social networking site, motorhomeholidayswap.com connects owners of mobile homes across the world in order to allow holidayers to borrow one another's vehicles.

After making contact through the website, caravan owners can then agree to swap mobile homes for the duration of a holiday, allowing caravanners to holiday abroad with no rental fees.

"Motorhome Exchange is a mutual exchange for an agreed period, at no cost," the website states.

"You will make contact and get to know your exchange partner through us, and make sure that you are happy with all aspects of the exchange before you commit."

However, owners will need to ensure their insurance is truly comprehensive in order to protect drivers of their vehicles in the event of an accident.
