Mobile home hire company set up
Posted on October 29th 2008
A Sheffield man recently invested in a new business offering mobile homes for hire, it has been reported, after he realised what an asset such vehicles could be.
Charles Glover saw the benefit of owning a mobile home when touring the country in support of his son who was competing as a sailor, reports the Star.
Since then he and local vehicle retailer Emile Berek have set up their own mobile home rental company, offering holidaymakers the chance to use a luxury vehicle for as long as they need.
"The growing desire for self-sufficiency and adventure, the rise of the so-called cashmere camper and the need to escape the so-called 'nanny state lifestyle' mean more people are getting behind the wheel and heading for the open road," he told the paper.
Mr Glover and Mr Berek's homes are completely full of the latest modcons including air conditioning, luxury bedrooms, shower rooms and full-sized cookers.
