Mobile home 'crucial' to country star's tour
Posted on September 17th 2008
Country legend Charlie Landsborough has spoken to the Wirral News about his satisfaction about the chance to play in his hometown on his upcoming tour.
But what might be of more interest to caravanners across the country is not where he's playing but how he intends to get there.
"The gigs are the highlights," he told the Wirral News, although he admits his mobile home gives him pleasure every day.
"[My son and I] park up in a caravan site and then have a look around the town and see what's there It's great fun and then we get to see all these marvellous people who come out, follow us and support us."
The benefits of travelling with your own possessions in tow with the use of a caravan will already be felt by many caravanners in the UK, as well as F1 driver Rubens Barrichello who, it was recently reported, prefers to stay in a mobile home himself when at certain Grand Prix.
