Mobile home competing in size
Posted on October 13th 2008
Caravanning and motorhoming could look very different in the near future if the Romahome R10 is successful when it launches later this month.
The R10 is a new single-berth vehicle designed to accommodate a sleeper as tall as 6ft 4ins, while the vehicle itself is no bigger than a Citroen Nemo van.
The new vehicle could be a favourite among those who wish to get around town as fast as possible, and wish to make use of a vehicle which can be used in the city as well as on countryside trips.
"We have based R10 on the Citroen Nemo, which is the new international van of the year, and I'm sure that Romahome fans are going to love it," said Romahome managing director Brian Bailey.
However, many caravan owners will never give up the luxury of owning four beds, a kitchen and a living room all at once.
