Man dies in caravan fire on Gold Coast
Posted on October 21st 2008
A man died after his caravan caught alight in the Mudgeeraba Caravan Park on Australia's Gold Coast, The Australian reports.
His partner managed to escape the blaze and is being treated for smoke inhalation.
It is suspected that a heater caused the fire which eventually claimed the life of the man.
While most accidents involving caravans are far from the tragic event recorded on Australia's Gold Coast, most are likely to be costly to the owner.
A car accident, small fire or flooding can all cause damage which can cost thousands of pounds to replace.
Caravan insurance, however, can offer financial peace of mind in the event of such accidents, by offering financial assistance to the owner of the vehicle.
