Lottery winners splash out on adjacent caravans
The Cardiff-based Prance family won almost £7 million on the Euromillions Lottery last October, but have just returned to the Trecco Bay caravan park in Porthcawl, South Wales, to buy three top-of-the-range vans next door to each other.
The close family, who won as a syndicate, were on a regular family break in Porthcawl to celebrate Gillian Prance's birthday when they discovered their good fortune, and had had to remember to buy the tickets, in advance, before they left.
At the press conference, just after they had won, Carl Prance, who lived in Splott, Cardiff, said: "As each number came out correctly we all grew quieter and quieter. But when we realised we had all the right numbers we went bananas.
"We checked them several times on Teletext on the caravan TV, filled up the fridge with some celebration drinks and stayed in the caravan for a party."
Two other Trecco Bay caravan owners are also past multi-million pound lottery winners too.
