Glamour model receives caravan for wedding present
Posted on October 30th 2008
A 16-year-old glamour model hopeful has been given a caravan for her wedding present, it has been reported, from her father who spent £100,000 on her wedding day.
Missy Quinn, who has not attended school in seven years, said that she had always wanted a big wedding, and that her day was a success thanks to her dad's hard work and thrifty saving.
Her dress alone, designed with Swarovski crystals, cost four fifths of the average cost of a wedding; £16,000.
But perhaps the most lasting gift was the couple's caravan in which they now live full time.
The gift is certainly a testament to the comfort offered by a caravan as no longer are they simply fitted with the most 'make do' functions but instead often come equipped with all modcons.
