Forty years of island music festival
Tickets for the Isle of Wight rock festival, which takes place between June 13th and 15th, are now on sale.
Caravan owners will not find on-site facilities for their vans, or trailers, but a regular bus service will tour the island and can transport people from the nearby Newport facilities. This is to reduce the amount of car owners seeking parking at the festival site.
Pre-pitched tents can be booked, however, in the Tangerine fields area, whereas camper vans and other camping will be available in the Strawberry fields area. An area called Sleepy Hollow will be available for young families and campers who do not want to party until late at night. Security guards will patrol the camping sites and well-lit pathways should help revellers find their way in the dark.
Music lovers will enjoy headline acts such as Kaiser Chiefs, The Police and the Sex Pistols with KT Tunstall and Lilly Allen also performing. Full details of the music acts is available on the festival's website.
