Find your sea legs on a floating caravan
Found yourself flooded while on holiday in your caravan?
Now it doesn't have to be a problem, as you can float above the water and your troubles in the safety and comfort of your holiday caravan home.
And with the recent floods of the summer, flotation devices are being even more commonly used, with a company in Wales reporting record sales recently.
Marche Industries, which makes flotation devices for caravans, has had to hire new workers to meet the demands for the orders, according to the Business Post.
Around 1,000 of the devices have been ordered for several holiday homes in the recently flooded counties of Worcestershire and Gloucestershire.
The devices work by attaching to the bottom of the caravan, to inflate during a flood. Additionally, there is a cantilever system fastened to the base, which allows the caravan to be lifted up to 12 feet high.
It is hoped that having the device might help lower caravan insurance costs.
