Environmental approach to static
Pathfinder Park Homes is adopting an eco approach, not only to its homes but also to its office and workspaces.
The firm's workers are encouraged to recycle stationary, cardboard, plastic and glass, to use low energy bulbs, as well as to link into local green initiatives.
"Throughout the last year we have been working hard to raise awareness of our environmental commitment and we are delighted to be supporting the Woodland Trust," explains director of Pathfinder Park Homes, Martin Hember.
"By planting 495 Carbonplus+ trees we are taking steps to offset our residual carbon dioxide emissions, which will in turn help to protect woodland in the UK from the growing threat of climate change."
Pathfinder Park Homes features some energy-saving features to reduce the running costs of its homes. These include: hemp wool insulation, energy-saving boilers, foil backed plasterboard, energy-saving appliances, double-glazed gas-filled sealed units and thermo controls on all taps.
