Cyclist thanks Swift for long-term cycling squad support

Helen Wyman, winner of the UK National Cyclo-cross Championships for the third year running, has explained how the sponsorship from Swift Motorhomes has benefited the sport.

The commitment of Swift Racing to a team of female cyclists means that the squad is invited to events, rather than having to build up an individual tally of achievements which can overload the riders with competitions.

Helen Wyman told cyclingnews.com: "It's a really good sponsor, they're a motor home company based in the UK, based in Hull.

"We've built the team over the last three years, and the girls that are on the team all get on really really well. The sponsorship's allowed us to build that gradually over time, over the next four years, and hopefully by the Olympics we can have one of the best teams in the world."

Since the involvement of Swift, the team has been renamed in its honour, having previously been known as Global Racing.
