Caravan Insurance News: Council causes a walk out
Posted on March 16th 2009
Residents walked out on a Vale of Glamorgan planning committee after a proposal for caravans to be aloud to pitch next to a pub was approved.
It is believed that the council had decided the outcome of the proposal before the meeting, which did not allow members of the public a chance to object to the plans.
It is believed that one councillor did request that it be amended to allow members of the public a chance to get their point of view across.
Members of the public were concerned about the increase in road traffic, which was dangerously high already; some residents were worried about the noise and how long it would take to develop.
