Caravan to play part in pianist role for motor home salesman
Posted on August 04th 2008
The owner of a Northamptonshire caravan garage has decided to take one of his caravans to Spain, to make a radical life-change.
Having played the piano for 30 years, George Egner is to take one of his company's caravans to the Costa Del Sol in order to set up as a hotel pianist there, proving that caravanning can be glamorous as well as cost effective.
Speaking to the Northampton Chronicle and Echo, Mr Egner said: "I'm going for three months to start with, to see how I get on. I've been playing piano for 30 years so I can keep up with stuff."
Planning to stay in his caravan will mean the motor home will be his home as well as transport, and so it is crucial for Mr Egner to invest in caravan insurance.
Mr Egner moved down to Northampton fro Edinburgh 35 years ago to sell caravans, but has decided that now a caravan is the key to another of his lifetime aspirations, and so will be moving to Spain.
