Caravan park may finally get go ahead in Northants

Wicksteed Park in Northamptonshire is to bid a second time for the right to add a caravan park to its grounds, it has been reported.
Managing director John Roberts said that a caravan park is ideal for Wicksteed Park.
"Wicksteed is a wonderful location for a development like this," he told the Evening Telegraph.
"The park and the surrounding county has a lot to offer and if we can go ahead with our plans it would be a massive asset for us.
"We have a huge number of people every year inquire about bringing caravans to Wicksteed and it is only something we have ever done on a very small scale in the past.
The plan for 25 stationary sites, 100 touring sites and 50 camping spots was rejected earlier this year after Kettering Council said that the park would need to include a flood risk assessment.
Caravan owners are often caught in the problems caused by flooding and major flooding appears to be an increasingly common issue.
