Caravan park avoids fire threat

A fire at a dog training club in Hereford caused the partial evacuation of a neighbouring caravan park over the weekend.

The fire, which started at 18:30 GMT on Saturday, destroyed the wooden clubhouse.

Fire fighters feared that the blaze would spread to the LPG cylinders.

The two fire engines and a water carrier were able to control the spread of the flames, however, and residents of the caravan park were able to return to their homes later that evening.
