Caravan goes up in flames
One caravan-owner is regretting not getting caravan insurance after her newly-purchased caravan caught aflame last weekend in Woking, reported the Woking News and Mail.
Local resident Gaynor Lake was horrified to see her beloved vehicle burning in the early hours of the morning. She roused her partner and called the fire brigade, but not before some fire damage had occurred.
Ms Lake said to the Woking News and Mail: "This is really shocking its knocked me back quite badly. Ive only had the caravan for six months and used it once. Now its a wreck.
"I used it to go on my first holiday for 10 years and I was so looking forward to my next one but I dont have the money to replace it."
It is thought that the blaze started due to the valves of two butane cylinders being left open, and firefighters are treating the incident as arson.
Getting caravan insurance can help prepare you for the unexpected, so you don't lose out on your caravan fun.
