Caravan fire leads to evacuation
A fire in a caravan in Port Talbot has led to nine people being evacuated from their homes.
The fire broke out in the early hours of the morning at the Sandfields estate.
Local firefighters were called to the scene and decided to evacuate people living in nearby homes as the fire spread.
The incident highlights the importance of caravan owners taking proper precautions against the risk of fire.
It is also vital that they take out adequate caravan insurance.
Modern caravans are increasingly sophisticated with all kinds of mod-cons. Failing to take out proper cover could be an expensive oversight.
