Caravan Park fined over £4,000
A caravan park, close to Preston, Lancashire, has been fined for six breaches of regulations by Blackpool magistrates' court.
Fylde Council officers inspected the park in March and discovered gas canister storage that compromised fire safety regulations and use of concrete hard standings.
They also found that Starglade Park Developments Limited had failed to appoint an on-site warden.
Councillor Patricia Fieldhouse, Fylde cabinet member for community and social wellbeing, told a reporter from the Blackpool gazette: "These were serious breaches and that is well reflected in the level of fines imposed by the magistrates.
"The council will take robust action against those who blatantly breach the conditions of their site licence."
The owners of the Vines Caravan Park are now working to correct the problems.
