Bollywood star trapped in caravan
Posted on August 05th 2008
Bollywood actor Sreeman, a household name throughout the second largest film industry in the world, was trapped in his caravan for almost an hour while filming, it has been revealed.
The actor, known throughout Bollywood for his work on such films as Panchathanthiram, Pammal K Sammandham and Sethu, had gone to the toilet on set but, thanks the latch on the toilet door breaking - and the door itself becoming stuck - he was trapped for 40 minutes.
Unfortunately his cries for help could not be heard as there was a generator working beside the caravan, and so it was the eagle eye of one on set worker that raised the alarm.
Although most of the film's actors and staff could laugh at the mishap, it should be noted by caravan owners that motor home insurance must be kept up to date and made fully comprehensive.
Replacing a broken door for instance - or even a lock - could cost hundreds of pounds for the owners of a caravan if it suffers from even such a minor fault.
