Award for Anglesey attractions

Caravan owners have been invited to nominate their favourite pitches in Anglesey, North Wales, as a part of the inaugural Anglesey Tourism Awards (ATA).

There are 11 categories, including best caravan or camping site. This category is sponsored by Mon Caravans.

The deadline for nominations is November 30th.

Neil Rowlands, ATA chairman, said: "We are extremely grateful to all our sponsors for supporting the awards.

"Each of them provides a vital service to the tourism industry and, through this partnership, we are offering Anglesey tourism businesses the opportunity to work with companies that can help develop a competitive edge."

The awards will be presented in a ceremony on January 25th 2008.

In 2005, Anglesey welcomed over one million visitors.
