£700,000 in orders on inaugural day of show
Romahome, the Isle of Wight-based motorhome manufacturer, has launched its largest ever model at the National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor show - and has taken 17 firm orders on the first Press day.
The Romahome R40 breaks away from the tradition of larger Romahome models as it carries a GRP monocoque body on a Citroen Dispatch platform.
Brian Bailey, managing director, said: "We took the Dispatch, which Citroen now offers in a choice of lengths, and grew the size of the motorhome body section to accommodate customers' wishes.
"The result is a motorhome with a large bathroom, generous kitchen, and good dining and living space that also gives four ample beds. There are also six seats. The development team at Cowes has put a tremendous amount of hard work into the new vehicle and it shows."
The NEC National Boat, Caravan and Outdoor show continues to be open to the public until Sunday February 24th.
