Caravan Insurance News: £12,000 caravan returned to owner
Posted on June 01st 2009
Thieves had stolen a Hobby VIP caravan but have had their attempts stopped by a brilliant piece of technology. The caravan worth in excess of £12,000 had been fitted with a wheel clamp and tracking device at its storage location at East Fortune Farm, Aberdeen. Had it not been for the tracking device, the thieves may have gotten away with the mindless crime.
The tracking devise fitted by the company Suretrack allowed police to narrow down the location of the caravan and return it to the rightful owners. Tracking devices are brilliant at tracking stolen caravans. Discounts to insurance premiums are available at Insure My Caravan of up to 15% if a tracker is fitted, as well as other discounts available.
